Account Settings
 
The Account Settings page allows you to define certain environment settings that allow you to customize certain screens of the Merchant Resource Center.
 
Changes take effect immediately with the exception of a COM port change. Changes to COM port settings require the user to exit and restart the browser application. Depending on the operating system, a system shutdown and restart may be required.
 
Default Transaction ECI
The Default ECI dropdown allows you to define what will be selected by default when you perform a transaction through the Virtual Terminal. The ECI can always be changed on the transaction screen to accurately reflect the type of transaction you are processing.

The ECI (eCommerce Indicator) indicates to the card issuer how the card number was obtained from the cardholder.
 
Default Language
The Default Language dropdown allows you to define what language the text within the Merchant Resource Center will be in when the user logs in.
 
PINPad COM Port
The PINPad COM Port is defined by the PC's operating system. If you require assistance locating your COM Port, please contact the Moneris Gateway support team at the number provided below. The COM Port is only required if the account is setup for Card Present - the merchant has a PINPad.
 
Transaction Summary Fields
The Transaction Summary Fields allow you to define what data will be displayed on the Transaction Summary report screen. Date/Time, Order ID and Transaction Type will always be shown.
 
Export to File Fields
The Export to File Fields section allows you to select the data which will be included in the generated CSV output file when selecting the 'Export Transactions to File' option. This option is found within the query results screen when completing a search within the 'Reports' menu.
